Creating employability for rural youth thro’ technical training

Gmmco has recently launched the second batch of Construction Machine Maintenance Training at the CII Skills Training centre at Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh on 13th Oct, 2014. This second batch of training was formally inaugurated by Mr. K. V. Deshkar, AVP (WS & service facilities) in the presence of Mr. Amit Dubey, Centre Head- CII. CII Skills Training Centre, Chhindwara is a unique effort by CII to impart skills to the youth and making them employable. The centre, in collaboration with Indian and multinational companies imparts short-term vocational training through various courses.

In total 12 Students were registered for the training which consists of both classroom and practical training. The top 5 students amongst them will be chosen for the next level of training in the Gmmco Nagpur workshop for a period of 4 months and during this period will be paid a stipend.
