GMMCO has invested significantly in a state-of-the-art testing facility in Mysore and has recently enhanced its capabilities by adding test cells and remote monitoring. The Mysore facility can test up to three 3500 kVA diesel generator sets simultaneously and is equipped with 11.5 MW resistive-cum-inductive load banks to validate performance across load conditions.
It also supports high-voltage DG testing through dedicated compact substation infrastructure, medium-voltage panels and protection systems. Automated monitoring, CCTV surveillance, real-time data logging, power quality analysers, temperature data loggers and vibration sensors provide detailed insights into performance, safety and reliability. This testing backbone ensures every solution is validated before deployment, reducing site-level risks and improving customer confidence. End customers increasingly demand witness tests and validation tests, and GMMCO is well-equipped to support these requirements.
